Weeding effects of a newly developed tea-field weeder on inter-row and under-canopy areas of tea plantations

Researchers built a weeder attached to a riding tea harvester that mows both inter-row and under-canopy weeds. In trials it cut weed cover from 75% to 7%, and quarterly use kept weeds suppressed all season.
