Matcha sweets brand MAMIDORI launches collaboration dorayaki with specialty shop

MAMIDORI, an online matcha confectionery brand using 100% Kyoto-prefecture matcha, has begun limited-quantity sales of collaboration dorayaki with Kyoto-based dorayaki specialist Inome, whose owner supervised the recipe for MAMIDORI's flagship daifuku. At a recent Nagoya department-store event, the brand sold 1,120 units in two hours. Dorayaki is available individually (¥2,400) or bundled with three madeleine cakes (¥4,400), with shipments scheduled for October 1, 8, and 19.
